JAMB Extends 2018/2019 UTME Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announce the extension of registration for 2018 UTME till midnight of Sunday, 11th February, 2018.


Initially the two months window period given to candidates to register for 2018 UTME ended at midnight of Tuesday, 6th February, 2018.


Candidates are therefore strongly advised to take advantage of the extension to register for further extension would not be entertained.

The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede disclosed that the total of 1,451,691 candidates had registered so far for the 2018 UTME, while 39,663 candidates were for the Direct Entry. This information was disclosed by JAMB Registrar while receiving the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

Prof. Is-haq Oloyede made a comment on the anti-corruption drive that the board would cooperate with the EFCC in fighting corruption in the form of examination malpractices.
