AFIT Admission Form For ND/HND/PGD 2018/2019 Is Out

Air Force Institute of Technology, AFIT Admission form for screening into ND 2018/2019, AFIT Post UTME and AFIT Admission form into PGD/HND

AFIT Admission form 2018/2019 – This is to inform the general public that Air Force Institute of Technology has commenced Direct Entry admission into PGD/HND programmes and admission screening into ND programmes for 2018/2019 academic session.

Applications are thereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for preliminary and direct entry admissions into the following programmes in the 2018/2019 Academic Session:

Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND) Programmes

(1)     Aircraft Engineering Technology (Airframe/Power Plant Option).

(2)     Aircraft Engineering Technology (Avionics Option).

(3)     Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.

(4)     Purchasing and Supply.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

(1)     Aircraft Engineering Technology (Airframe/Power Plant Option).

(2)     Aircraft Engineering Technology (Avionics Option).

(3)     Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology.

(4)     Purchasing and Supply.

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes

(1)     Aerospace Engineering (Aeromechanical Option).

(2)     Aerospace Engineering (Avionics Option).

(3)     Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

PROCEDURE FOR AFIT ADMISSION FOR ND PROGRAMMES CANDIDATES

For a successful application, ND candidates are expected to complete two basic registration steps as stated and explained below:

(a) Payment via e-Bills Pay.

(b) Admission Screening Bio-Data Registration.

(i) ND candidates should visit any branch of commercial banks and request for e-Bills Pay in respect of Air Force Institute of Technology ND programme and make payment of the sum of N3,100.00 plus the required bank charges. After payment, the bank teller will provide a printout of Session ID, which is required to proceed with online registration.

(ii) Having been assigned a Session ID by the bank, candidates should visit AFIT website (http://www.afit.edu.ng) and click on the ‘AFIT ND Admission Screening’ link. Insert the Session ID obtained from the bank, email, phone number and upload your passport. Proceed to select the programme category applicable to you (National Diploma) and click submit. After the display of “record inserted correctly” message, click “resume registration” to continue the application.

AFIT POST UTME SCREENING

ND candidates who selected AFIT as first choice and scored above JAMB UTME cut-off pass mark would be invited for post-UTME screening in AFIT, Kaduna. The Institute’s cut-off marks for various programmes will be displayed on the Institute’s website after screening. Details of the screening, which include an examination, would be communicated to eligible candidates at the appropriate time via SMS.

PROCEDURE FOR AFIT ADMISSION FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

For a successful application, direct entry candidates are expected to complete two basic steps below:

(a) Payment via e-Bills Pay

(b) On-line Registration.

(i) Candidates should visit any branch of commercial banks, request for Air Force Institute of Technology on e-Bills Pay and specify the appropriate programme (Pre-HND, HND or PGD) to make payment. Pre-HND and HND/PGD candidates are to pay N4, 000.00 and N5, 000.00 respectively with the required bank charges. After payment, the bank teller will give a printout of the Session ID, which would be required to proceed with the online registration.

(ii) Having been assigned a Session ID by the bank, candidates should visit AFIT website above and click on the ‘Direct Entry Registration’ link. Insert the Session ID obtained from the bank, email, phone number, upload your passport and select the course applicable to you (Pre-HND, HND or PGD), click submit. After the display of “record inserted correctly” message, click the “resume registration” button to continue the application.
