FULOKOJA Post UTME/DE Screening Registration and Date 2018/2019

The Federal University Lokoja Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2018/2019 Academic Session will take place from Monday, 13th to Saturday 18th August, 2018 at the University premises (Behind Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja). The screening will be purely Computer-Based (CBT) and in batches.

Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the specified date and time on the screening slip and also, be at the venue two (2) hours before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.

 

Important Notice On FULOKOJA Post UTME Screening

  • This is to inform all 2018/2019 Post UTME candidates who used “awaiting result” during their registration, to immediately upload their O’Level result on/before 12.00 noon, Friday 31st August, 2018,  through the University’s Admission Portal. This is necessary for the completion of the Admission exercise.
  • Only candidates who applied through JAMB for UTME Admission, chose Federal University Lokoja as the most preferred Choice and have a minimum cut off mark of 180 and above are eligible for the screening exercise.

Candidates should also note that ONLY the accredited courses listed below are available for the 2018/2019 Academic Session. Therefore, only candidates that have chosen any of the under listed courses will be eligible for the screening:

  • Biology
  • Economics
  • Geology
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • English Language
  • History
  • Political Science
  • Computer Science
  • Geography
  • Mathematics

 

How to apply for Federal University Lokoja Post UTME Screening

Registration is strictly online and commences from Monday, 16th July, 2018. The procedure for registering for the screening exercise is as follows:

  1. Candidates must have a valid personal e-mail address before starting the application process.
  2. Visit www.fulokoja.edu.ng
  3. Click on Admissions, then select 2018/2019 admission portal.
  4. Login with your valid JAMB Registration number to confirm eligibility.
  5. Update your personal details, number of O’Level examination sitting and O’Level Result.

NOTE: Upload a RECENT and CLEAR COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. The photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates.

FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.

  1. Select your Post UTME subject combination.
  2. Generate your RRR [Remita Retrieval Reference] payment invoice (Post-UTME Screening Charges) of ₦2,000.00 from the Admission Portal
  3. Proceed to any bank of your choice that offers REMITA services with your printed invoice and process your payment with your generated RRR.

OR

Visit www.remita.net, click on Pay an Electronic Invoice, enter your RRR and process your payment with your ATM card.

  1. Return to the University Admission Portal and confirm your payment after which you will be automatically batched for the screening exercise.
  2. Print out your Post-UTME Screening Slip
  3. Candidates are expected to come to the Admission Screening Hall with a copy of the following items:
    • Post-UTME Screening Slip.
    • JAMB e-Registration Slip
    • JAMB Result Slip.

Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study at not more than two sittings. Credit in English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses in Federal University Lokoja. Please visit the University website for the O’level & UTME entry requirements for courses offered in Federal University Lokoja.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT on Friday, 10TH AUGUST, 2018.

Candidates who pay after the deadline will not participate in the screening. All eligible candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the specified date and time on the screening slip.

Note that only candidates who participated in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise shall be considered for admission in the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

 

FULOKOJA Direct Entry Screening Registration

This is to inform DIRECT ENTRY candidates who applied through JAMB and made Federal University Lokoja their first choice, that the University website will be open on Wednesday 1st August, 2018 to Wednesday 19th September, 2018 for the online submission of their bio-data, O’level, GCE A’L, NCE/ND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree results through the University Portal.

How to apply

  1. Candidates must have a valid personal e-mail address before starting the application process.
  2. Visit fulokoja.edu.ng
  3. Click on Admissions, then select 2018/2019 admission portal.
  4. Login with your valid JAMB Registration number to confirm eligibility.
  5. Update your personal details and previous academic records as requested.

NOTE: Upload a RECENT and CLEAR COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. The photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the Federal University Lokoja.

FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.

  2. Print out your Direct-Entry Application Slip

ONLINE APPLICATION CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT on Wednesday 19th September, 2018. Candidates who pay after the deadline will not be considered for the 2018/2019 Admission.
