Command Secondary Schools Form For Admission into JS1 2020/2021
The command secondary schools form is currently on sale for interested applicants for admission into JS1.
Online application form for admission into Command Secondary Schools, Command Science Secondary Schools, Command Technical Science Secondary School and Command Day Secondary Schools 2020/2021 Academic Session is out Monday 16 March to Friday 28 June 2020.
The Common Entrance Examination will take place on Saturday 27 June, 2020 at 8.00am in all designated examination centres nationwide.
Latest Update: This is to inform the general public that online application form for admission into Command Secondary Schools, Command Science and Technical Secondary Schools and Command Day Secondary Schools will be available from Monday 16 March to Friday 26 June 2020

Command/Military schools in Nigeria are just like accredited federal and state secondary schools. They also offer quality education to their students. Most of these Nigerian military schools are top notch and are affiliated with the Nigerian army, Navy or Airforce.
Their academic curriculums do not differ from the one set by the Ministry of Education. One good thing about command/military schools in Nigeria is the discipline they inculcate in their students, physical fitness and other kinds of training.
How to apply for Command Secondary Schools Admission
Interested candidates are to
- Visit the school website http://dcss.sch.ng/
- Click on dcss.sch.ng/sign-up on the homepage to sign-up
- With the login details created , sign in
- Then apply
- Complete and Submit the Application form
- Print out the Transaction ID that appears after a successful application
Please note that your valid email address and phone number should be given during registration.
For Military Personnel Children/Wards, the Name, Service Number, Unit/Formation of the parents should be indicated.

Payment option
Click on the make payments online button for the purchase of the form which will redirects you to the Quickteller page. Enter your transaction ID and complete the payments using your Debit cards. Print out the receipt
OR
Proceed to any commercial bank in Nigeria with the Transaction ID to make payments of N2, 000 ONLY (Bank charges Inclusive) VIA BranchCollect or PayDirect and collect a receipt of Payment
OR
Proceed to any ATM(Automated Teller Machine) Enabled Machine. Click on the QuickTeller option, enter the CODE 04245501 for payment, when prompted for the transaction ID, enter the transaction ID printed from the portal and complete the payment process. OR
Pay using USSD by dialing *322*1*04245501*2000# on any network
Follow the prompt to make the payment. You will be required to use the details of your debit card.
How to print photocard
- Log on to the portal dcss.sch.ng/myphotocard
- Print out the Photo Card which would be presented at the exam center

Check the size of the passport you tried to upload. Try to reduce the size. I just uploaded a passport and it went through.
the platform is not opening for me to browse for her passport, it keeps instructing me to “click here to upload passport”

It is very possible because sometimes the list might not appear online but on the school notice board. I will advise that you check the school your daughter wrote the exam.
