MAIPOLY Minimum Entry Requirements for National Diploma Programmes
The following are the general entry requirements approved for admissions into the Polytechnics National Diploma (ND) Programmes:-
- WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE O’ Level or its equivalent with passes at credit level in Four (4) subjects relevant to the Programme at NOT more than two sittings.
- City and Guilds or WAEC Technical Certificate/NABTE in Building, Woodwork, Mechanical/Metal, Electrical Trades with at least Four Credit Passes in Mathematics, Science, English language and Social Studies.
- The Candidate must have been properly admitted as well as passes the examinations prescribed for the relevant PRE-ND as specified in the relevant sections of the Polytechnic Handbook.

HOW TO APPLY INTO MAIPOLY NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
The candidate must write the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) in subjects relevant to the proposed course of study and attach an acceptable score in the examination for entry into the course of his/her choice in addition to having obtained any of the academic qualifications above.
Minimum Entry Requirements for Pre-National Diploma
Pre-National Diploma (Engineering Technology) Courses: The requirement for admission to Pre-National Diploma (Engineering Technology) is WAEC/SSCE, NECO and GCE and other equivalents (TC 11, RSA Stage11, City and Guilds and or NABTE) with passes in four papers which should include English and Mathematics plus any other two from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Integrated Science.
