Makurdi College of Nursing Science Form 2023/2024
Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences Benue state form is out for 2023/2024 session. Further to the approval of the Federal Government of Nigeria for the establishment of Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences (MAKCONS) Benue State, we hereby announce the sale of admission forms into the College for the following programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session:
- General Nursing
- Remedial Sciences
The General Nursing programme is for a period of three years which at the end, the candidates shall be presented for both the College and Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria Professional Qualifying Examinations to be registered and licensed as General Nurses while the remedial programme is for a period of one (1) year which will prepare prospective candidates for admission into the College at the end of the one (1) year programme.
Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences Requirements
GENERAL NURSING:
- Applicants MUST not be less than 16 years at the time of application
- MUST possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO) or GCE O’ Level or equivalent with at least 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings of the same examination body OR NABTEB at not more than one (1) sitting.
REMEDIAL SCIENCES:
- Applicants MUST not be less than 16 years at the time of application
- Applicants MUST possess at least two (2) passes at credit level including English Language and Mathematics to qualify for admission.
How to Apply For Makurdi College of Nursing Siences Admission
Application form is available online on the College’s portal at admissions.makcons.com.
Interested candidates are to do the following;
- Log onto the portal at https://www.admissions.makcons.com.
- If you are a new applicant, create a brief profile by clicking on the “Create Account” button and enter the required information.
- The system will return you to your dashboard where you would have access to limited menus and functions until you make payment, Please note that this will happen only for the first time of your application.
- You can subsequently, login using your email and password. On your dashboard, General Nursing applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable amount of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000.00) while Remedial Sciences applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable sum of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10,000.00) using your debit card details.

- Check your application dashboard regularly for further instructions.
General Nursing applicants will be subjected to a Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at the College’s CBT Centre.Only candidates who attain acceptable standard shall be invited for screening.
Note:
- There will be no Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for Remedial applicants.
- Those who are qualified will be issued admission letter.
