First Term
Sense of Sight I and II

Pupils should be able to:

- identify various sound made by objects, animals and persons

Sense of Touch I and II
- Observation and identification of organ of touching
- Touching: with fingers, detecting various objects by touch, feeling its shapes, texture, pressure and temperature
- Identification of the parts of the body used for tasting things
- Detecting various food items that are sweet, sour, salty and bitter
Sense of Taste
- Identification of things that are safe and safe to taste
Sense of Smell

Plant

Uses of Plants
- describe common use of plants. Common uses of plant in the locality. (For food, Beautification, Building furniture, shede medicine)

Animals
- identify some common animal in the locality and the school compound. Animal in the locality e.g. Goat, Dog, Hen, Cat, Bird etc. Animal in the school e.g. grasshopper, butterfly etc
- collect and preserve some animals in the school compound
Features of
Animals.
- observe and name the features of some common animal in the school compounds
- observe and name features of common animals in their locality
- use the observable features to group the animals found in the school and in their locality
Behavior of Animal
- Animal behavior. Type of food they eat, Caring for young ones etc.
