Environmental Health and Community Health In Nigerian Institutions
Environmental health is a multidisciplinary subject and cuts across all sections and all levels of society. This course helps in environmental pollution control and protection of populations from the impact of environmental hazards.
The programme is thus intended to train people with various backgrounds in science, engineering and social sciences to tackle the most commonly occurring environmental problems with a view to safeguarding the health of communities.
Most Universities in Nigeria offers Community health and Environment health at Masters or PhD level. Few Universities offer B.sc Environmental health and Community health but there are good numbers of Colleges of health technology that offers the two courses as Environmental health technology and Community health.

- Applicants with a minimum average of 60% in relevant and applicable M.Sc degree can apply directly for Ph.D.
