Federal Unity Schools Fees 2023/2024
The Federal Ministry of Education has approved the new school fees for all unity schools in Nigeria. The approved fees /charges for Unity colleges for new students as signed by Director of Senior Secondary Education indicate the new charges.
The new students are expected to pay one hundred thousand naira (N100,000) instead of the previous N45,000. This new fee increment will affect virtually all aspects and activities of the school, including tuition and boarding fees, uniform, text books, deposit, exercise books, prospectus, caution fee, ID card, stationery, clubs and societies, sports, extra lesson, insurance, et al.
The schedule fees below is the approved breakdown for newly admitted students into unity schools.
- Boarding fees – N30,000 (per term)
- Textbooks deposit – N15,000
- Exercise books – N5,000 per session
- Uniforms – N25,000 (JSS 1 and SS 1)
- Prospectus – N1,000
- Medical – N2,000
- Caution fee – N1,000 per session
- ID card – N1,000
- Stationery – N1,000
- Vocational – N1,000
- Sports – N1,000
- Clubs and societies – N1,000
- Utility – N1,000
- Security – N1,000
- Website/e-result/ICT – N3,000
- School media -N3,000
- Extra lesson – N2,000
- Insurance – N5,000
Total – N100,000
As the new report has indicate the new charges, it is advisable for parents/guardians to add extra amount to the above. This will help make up for the additional charges added by the management of any of the Federal Government Colleges.
