EKSU Cut Off Mark For JAMB And Departmental 2023/2024

The management of Ekiti State University, (EKSU) has released the JAMB cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session which is 140 – 250 depending on the course of study. Medicine and Surgery have the highest minimum UTME point which is 250, followed by Nursing and law. The other EKSU courses are pegged at 160. The implication is that only candidates whose UTME score is equal to or more than the scores above are eligible to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the school management. The school benchmark for admission is given below.

  • Medicine and Surgery – 250
  • Nursing – 220
  • Law – 240
  • Other EKSU Courses – 140

The University minimum UTME scores for Law, Nursing, and Medicine (MBBS) are 240, 220, and 250 respectively. Candidates who scored lower in any of the aforementioned courses may apply for PUTME screening into other courses of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) and NOT IJMB for admission.

Department

The departmental cut-off mark is adjudged based on the PUTME screening performance of the candidates. For the past few years, EKSU has not made its departmental minimum point public.

However, once you have participated in the screening exercise and your performance is beyond the bar, you will be offered admission.

If we should judge with previous years, then we will be right to say the departmental minimum mark for 2023 will not be made public.

If history changes this year and they happen to release their departmental cut-off mark, we will gladly update this page accordingly.
