ASUU LAUTECH chapter Suspends Strike


The Academic Staff Union of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ,LAUTECH Ogbomoso has suspends its industrial action. The industrial action started in April shortly after the end of first semester examination.

The institution will commence lectures on Monday 23rd October 2017.

The decision to put the strike on hold was reached at the congress held today Tuesday October 7, 2017 at the Mani campus of the institution in Ogbomoso.

Details of the meeting is still scanty as at the moment of writing this report but it was learned that the lecturers agreed to return back to class due to the assurance from the management and the governing council of the institution that their salary arrears and other issues that led to the strike will be looked into and resolved.
