Ibadan has always been known for the home of best secondary schools in Nigeria due to the quality education received by students in most of the schools in the state. However, some secondary schools stand out others because of their consistency in remaining the best.
There are two schools in Ibadan known to be the best secondary schools according to their performance in WAEC result, NECO result, and Cowbell mathematics competition. These schools are Oritamefa Baptist Model Schools (OBMS) and Air Force Comprehensive High School, Iyana-Offa, Ibadan.
The other schools are also consistent in offering quality education, and they are the pride of Ibadan in years back and now. So I will categorise the list all the best secondary school into two; Private and Public secondary schools.

Admission procedure into the secondary schools
Admission into Wesley College of Science and Emmanuel Alayande is for senior secondary school students. The form can be purchased in the school or the ministry of education in Ibadan.
Air Force Comprehensive High school and Command day secondary school are Federal schools and their form can be accessed in the school or through the school website.
The competition into any of the schools mentioned above is high, so you need to prepare your child well for the entrance exam.
