Caritas Nigeria Essay Competition For Secondary Students 2025

Caritas Nigeria is calling for entries from senior secondary students for its 2025 essay competition. It’s part of their 15-year anniversary, and the theme this year touches something deep: “How can young people in Nigeria be inspired to create a culture or lifestyle of humanitarianism and be champions of social justice?”
The top three winners will receive cash prizes, and their work will be celebrated during the organisation’s 15th anniversary.
Caritas is calling on students to write from the heart, and the write-up must:
- Be original (don’t copy your seatmate, please)
- Be unpublished and free of plagiarism
- Stick to 350 words
- Include your full name, your parent or guardian’s phone number, and the contact of your school principal or vice principal
To be eligible, you must be:
