NADS Essay Competition For Dental Students In Nigeria 2024
The Nigeria Association of Dental Students, in collaboration with PHARMADEKO PLC, proudly presents an Essay Writing Competition for the 2024 contest. Applications are invited from suitably qualified for the essay competition.
NADS is the Nigerian Association of Dental Students. It was founded in 1975 and represents the interests of about 3000 students across Nigeria. It was founded to promote oral health and foster and maintain relationships among its members. NADS currently has 8 member schools. They are the University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Benin, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, University of Port Harcourt, University of Maiduguri, and Bayero University Kano.
For this year, the topic you will be writing on is “ULTIVATING A CULTURE OF ORAL WELNESS: Community-based approaches to lifelong health.”
To be qualified for the NADS essay competition,
- You must be a dental student of a dental school registered under NADS
- Must be following NADS on all social media platforms
To submit an entry for the competition, you must follow the guidelines below:
- Send a PDF copy of your essay, which should not be more than 1000 words to this email address (nigeriandentalstudents@gmail.com)
- You must include your DSA, class, and full name when sending.
The NADS Essay Writing Competition offers the following prizes, showing the association’s commitment to encouraging academic excellence and innovative thinking among dental students:
- 1st Place: N100,000
- 2nd Place: N75,000
- 3rd Place: N50,000
- Consolatory Prizes: N25,000 for positions 4th to 10th
These prizes not only provide financial incentives but also recognise participants’ hard work and creativity, showcasing the best and brightest minds in dental studies.
The deadline for the submission of the application is 11 March 2024. Late submission won’t be considered.
