Federal University of Technology Babura Cut Off Mark For 2026/2027

The management of Federal University of Technology Babura has released the cut off mark for all the programmes being offered in the school for the 2026/2027 admission. This is one of the requirements for any applicant seeking admission into the school.

In addition, online registration for the Screening Exercise will commence on Monday, 29th June 2026 and close on Wednesday, 30th September 2026.

Also, anyone seeking admission into the school must satisfy the following admission requirements below:

  • For Direct Entry (DE), a candidate MUST have a minimum of Lower Credit in the National Diploma and Innovative Diploma, while for IJMB, a minimum of 4 points in two (2) subjects.
  • Candidates MUST have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects, at credit level, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings, including English and Mathematics.

Below is the minimum score set for each course:

  • B.Tech. Civil Engineering – 170
  • B.Tech. Electrical & Electronics Engineering – 165
  • B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering 150
  • B.Sc. Computer Science – 160
  • B.Sc. Cyber Security – 165
  • B.Sc. Software Engineering – 160
  • B.Sc. Chemistry – 150
  • B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry – 150
  • B.Sc. Mathematics – 150
  • B.Sc. Physics – Cut-Off Point: 150
  • B.Sc. Applied Geophysics – 150
  • B.Sc. Biology – 150
  • B.Sc. Biotechnology – 150

The above cut-off mark implies that any candidate who fails to meet up with it won’t be eligible for the screening that the school would conduct. Also, the point above doesn’t automatically qualified you for admission into your programme. You must also have the required O’level results and also meet the PUTME cut.
