The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, is pleased to announce the commencement of the 6th edition of the annual ‘FISAYO SOYOMBO ESSAY COMPETITION.’ This competition, now in its 6th year, invites solution-focused essays addressing issues of national significance. It is open to all undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
This competition allows you to articulate your thoughts and ideas on a matter of national interest. Your essay has the potential to instigate change and inspire innovative approaches to combating corruption in Nigeria.
The competition topic is “BLESSED YET IMPOVERISHED: HOW CAN NIGERIA SOLVE ITS CORRUPTION ISSUES?”
Fisayo Soyombo Essay Competition Requirements:
- Word Count: 1500-2000 words
- Format: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 Line Spacing.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate university students in Nigeria
Prizes:
- First Place: N250,000
- Second Place: N150,000
- Third Place: N100,000
