JAMB NCE/ND Registration Update

The registration for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs and non-technological National Diploma (ND) programs in agriculture has commenced. This announcement was made by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin. The announcement was in accordance with the Federal Government’s approval exempting such applicants from writing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB’s spokesperson disclosed that eligible candidates with the required O’Level credits can register at any Institutional Professional Registration Center (IPRC) in colleges of education or any JAMB Professional Registration Center (PRC) nationwide.

In his statement, he noted that candidates who already sat for the 2026 UTME but have decided to switch to NCE or eligible agricultural programs can convert their applications at any designated registration center at no extra cost. The policy is designed to widen access to teacher education and agriculture-related programs while maintaining admission standards.
