Oluwadamilola Emerged Best Graduating Student During UI Induction into PCN
Sonibare Oluwadamilola Oluwaseun emerged as the only first-class graduand and Best Graduating Student (BGS) for this final B-pharm set of the University of Ibadan Pharmacy during the induction ceremony into the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) on Friday, June 7, 2024.
She wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) page “PHARM. O. O. SONIBARE B.Pharm UI, MPSN First Class Honors Distinction in Clinical Pharmacy, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical and Industrial Pharmacy, and Pharmacognosy. BGS Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Overall Best Graduating Student, Faculty of Pharmacy”
The event, which was held at the institution’s Pharmacy auditorium, saw no fewer than 26 Pharmacy students inducted into the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) by the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan.
Welcoming the audience to the institution’s induction ceremony, the vice-chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, noted in his opening remark that the inductees have been examined and trained over the years by the University, adding that they have been found worthy in character and learning.
Dr Anthony, Fspn, who was also representing the registrar of PCN, while addressing the graduates before the Oath was taken, said that they had just finished the first phase and that they should take internship and professional examinations very seriously. Also, they were charged to discharge their duties professionally and provide innovative services.
