General Admission Requirements
- Candidates must have sat for UTME/JAMB
- For admission into 100 level (via UTME), candidates must obtain five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Mathematics), at not more than 2 sittings and have scored 200 and above in UTME relevant subjects.

Candidates who meet the criteria for general entry requirement should proceed as follows:
Step 1:
Pay an application fee of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira, only) into the University’s account as captured below:

Step 2:
Candidates upon payment of application fee are requested to attend the compulsory screening/clearance exercise as indicated below:
Time: 10.00 am to 2pm ( Monday to Friday)
Venue: University Auditorium, No. 1, Tap Road, Elelenwo, Off Aba Expressway, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Step 3:
Requirements for screening
Candidates are to come along with the following documents for screening:
- Evidence of payment of application fee
- Original and photocopy of UTME result
- Original and photocopy of 0’level result
- Original and photocopy of birth certificate/affidavit of age
- Evidence of change of name, where applicable
- Two passport photographs
