School of Health Technology, Okporo, (SOHTO), Orlu, Imo State hereby invite application from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various programmes offered in the school for the 2021/2022 academic years.
The closing date for the application form is 3rd June 2021.

- Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)- 3years
- Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) – 2years
Department of Medical Laboratory Science
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 3years
Department of Environmental Health
- HND Environmental Health Technology (EHT) – 4years
- ND Environmental Health Technology – 2years
- Environmental Health Technician (EVT) – 3years
Admission Requirements
Community Health
Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics and any other social science subjects (5 credit) in WASSCE, GCE, or NECO certificates in not more than two sittings.
Medical Laboratory Science
Credit in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificates in not more than two sittings.
Environmental Health
Credit in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificates in not more than two sittings.
How to Apply for Admission
Application forms are available at the School premises. The application form is N12,050.
Kindly note that while coming to the school for the form, come with two passport size photographs and a copy of your SSCE result.
Entrance admission into School Of Health Technology Okporo is written annually during the first quarters of the year at the premises followed by interview for successful candidates.
The entrance examination date for this year’s admission will come up on Saturday 5th day of June 2021 in the School premises by 8:00 am.
Candidates are to come with their exam slip (mandatory) which will act as their pass to the exam hall, face mask, and writing materials.
