Cut off Mark

SLU Released Cut Off Mark For 2024/2025 Admission

Sule Lamido University (SLU) has released the official cut-off mark for admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. Out of the courses offered in the school, the minimum cut-off mark is 140. The minimum UTME mark is grouped according to the faculties in the university. What this means is that any candidate who didn’t meet the minimum mark won’t sit for the screening exercise.

All candidates are advised to check through the cut-off mark before they register for the PUTME to avoid being disqualified for the screening examination.

Kindly note that the direct entry cut-off mark is 7 points for all the courses.

The minimum score for each course is shown below.

  • Arabic: 160
  • English: 170
  • Hausa: 150
  • History: 140
  • Islamic Studies: 170
  • Library and Information Science: 160
  • B.Sc. (Ed.) Biology: 170
  • Chemistry: 160
  • Computer Science: 150
  • Mathematics: 140
  • Physics: 150

Faculty of Humanities

  1. B. A. Arabic – 170
  2. B. A. English – 160
  3. B. A. Hausa – 160
  4. B. A. History – 140
  5. B.A. Islamic Studies – 170

Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences

  • Biology: 170
  • Chemistry: 160
  • Mathematics: 140
  • Physics: 150

Faculty of Computing and IT

  • Computer Science: 170
  • Cyber Security: 170
  • Information Technology: 160
  • Software Engineering: 170

Faculty of Social and Management

  • Accounting: 160

The departmental benchmark will be released after the screening exercise has been conducted. This is what will be used to release the admission list.
