Across social media platforms, the compilation of students who did excellently well in 2024 UTME has surfaced. Although JAMB has said he will not announce the names of the top 10 students who score high on the exam based on some genuine reasons given by the board, some schools, especially private schools in Nigeria, have produced students who scored above 300.
One of the schools that surprised me the most was Deeper Life High School (DLHS), where one hundred and seventy-four (174) students had above 300. This is a great feat for the school. Having such many students shows that teaching quality is at the school’s core. Despite the high failure rate this year, the students are among the top 0.5% who did excellently.
Also, a lady, Zainab Oladigbolu Asake, who attended Dialogue Academy Kaduna state, scored 362. I believe she will be one of the female top scorers this year because I haven’t seen any girl score higher than Zainab.
Bishop Okoye Secondary School students had impressive scores. The school had 35 students who scored above 300 in JAMB. Surprisingly, Emmanuel Jeremiah Jewel, a student from the school, had 366 in UTME. Also, KADWEL international schools in Kaduna did pretty well. Ten students from the school had 300 or more. Also, there is a student of the school who scored 363. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College students were not left out. 30 students in this school had above 300 in the examination.
This report is based on the results I have seen so far, but I know there are more schools whose results were fantastic in this year’s UTME. The images are for the following schools.
