The Zeribe Nwosu Foundation (ZNF) Annual Essay Competition for 2024 is out for any interested undergraduate student in Nigeria. You are expected to “reflect on your experiences or perspectives gathered in consultation with others to articulate the challenges/issues associated with undergraduate education in Nigeria” Also, you are expected to suggest possible solutions.
The work to be submitted must be written by you and not plagiarized. It is important to note that the essay should be a maximum of 2,000 words (excluding references if included) and the layout should be: font size – 12, font type – Arial and line spacing – 1.5. Only MS Word format is allowed.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be at least an undergraduate in any Nigerian university (private or public).
- Completed NYSC by July 15 2024 are not eligible to apply.
- Only one submission is permitted per author.
- Nonconformity to the essay specifications will be deemed ineligible.
- Unsolicited emailing of the essay to the foundation is not allowed.
Prizes
- 1st Prize – N50,000 (Fifty thousand Naira)
- 2nd Prize – N40,000 (Forty thousand Naira)
- 3rd Prize – N30,000 (Thirty thousand Naira)
- + 2 Honorable Mentions (at N10,000 each)
