3000 Fake Graduates Uncovered By JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) made a shocking revelation during a meeting with the leadership of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of State Universities (COPSUN). The Board made it known that over 3,000 individuals who falsely claim to be university graduates were uncovered. These individuals have never attended a university. This is one of the reasons JAMB instituted a centralized admission system to oversee those who were offered admission to all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, these fake graduates result from endemic corruption in the system. The board has documented these cases and is working to address the issue of illegal admissions in tertiary institutions, which Oloyede described as an “embarrassment and disservice to the nation.”

This discovery highlights the need for increased vigilance and accountability in the education sector to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure the integrity of university degrees.

To all my readers, please be careful of fake admission so as not to get yourself into any trouble. Also, ensure your admission pass through JAMB.
