The JAMB Portal has not yet opened for checking 2024 results. Some candidates who wrote the UTME would like to check their results via the board portal. The JAMB registrar hasn’t revealed the reason behind the closure of the initial JAMB checker portal.
Once the portal is opened, you can only access your results on the portal after you have linked your email with your profile. Once that is done, go to the JAMB facility with your email and password, and then you will see your result on the portal.
For easy access, you can check your result using an SMS code provided by JAMB (send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number you used for registration). However, there is a bit of a difference between what the SMS will give and what the portal will show.
The SMS will only show your score and the breakdown. But on the portal, you will see details like UTME subjects and scores, first choice of institution/course and second choice of institution/course, date of birth, local government area, gender, registration and examination number, state of origin, and your picture.
Also, on the JAMB portal, you can print out your JAMB result. This will help you to have the hard copy in case you need it for the PUTME screening.
