As an undergraduate student you have to be aware of information that can help you after school. Many students are obsessed with the euphoria of gaining admission into higher institution and this temporal joy has become source of distraction to many students. It is very important to know that how fast your success will be depend on how well you spend your time while in school. The list below are some of the things you need to know before you graduate.
- Build a strong CGPA
Life is full of so many uncertainties and you have to create enough streams for yourself. Creating enough streams mean putting yourself in a better position for success. Some students do say ” having a good cgpa isn’t necessary afterall I have seen students with good cgpa without a good job or without good success in life”. This kind of thought is destructive and it can narrow the kind of opportunities that can come your way. You may never know what exactly can be your spring board to success in life. It might be that having a good CGPA will provide an avenue to get to where you want to be in life. So do not joke with it because it is one of the important tools that can take you to places in life.

2. Engage in extra curricular activity
Engaging in extra curricular activity give you a chance to explore a different interest that is quite different from the normal school work(reading and studying). Your school days become interesting and remarkable when you have extra activity you engage in. Don’t just spend your whole life reading books alone, find other interesting activities and engage in it. You can join press club, engage in sporting activity e.t.c. You are spreading your tentacles to other interesting areas by doing so. Employers don’t like graduate that are not interesting because they see them as someone that is not dynamic. Through other activities you can win yourself prices and scholarships. I want to say at the junction that you should try to win as many price and scholarships as possible while in school.
3. Build your leadership skill
Most time when opportunity to lead a small group present itself to students, they always renege it because they do believe they are not capable to lead. There is no better time to build this skill except when you are in school. Building leadership skill when you are in school will give you an advantage over other students that don’t develop this skill in life.
The best time to add values to yourself and prepare for the future is while you are in school because there are so many activities line up in school to your advantage and that will assist you to succeed in life.
