Top Highest JAMB Score For 2024 UTME

It is not unusual for JAMB to announce the top 3 highest JAMB scores immediately after the board has released its results. However, the JAMB Registrar said the announcement won’t be made this year to avoid the scene created by “Mmesoma” last year. In the report released yesterday, the public was made to understand that 8401 candidates scored above 300 in this year’s UTME. So, it is safe to say 8401 candidates did excellently well out of the 1.8 million results.

It was also noted that UTME is considered only a ranking examination because of other parameters that would later be regarded as minimum admissible scores. For example, if the top scorers in UTME are announced, the board can’t ascertain their possibility of securing admission. So, what is the point of announcing? Institutions in Nigeria have parameters they also use together with the UTME score before offers can be made.

2020 UTME top highest score

JAMB’s thorough scrutiny of the results has reduced the number of candidates who will pass the exam through malpractice. Subsequently, results from JAMB will reflect the ability and capability of each candidate who sits for the exam.

2019

  • Best score – Ekene Franklin – a 15-year-old boy from Abia State, emerged as the best candidate by scoring 347 marks
  • The second-best score – Igban Emmanuel Chidiebube – a 16-year-old boy from Abia State, came second by scoring 346 marks.

Note:

JAMB will never announce the lowest score, and there is no way you can get the candidate with such a result. The reason is that there is no pride in announcing candidates with the lowest scores.

I believe anyone can attain the feat the candidates above have achieved through diligence, hard work, perseverance, focus, and determination to excel.
