Benue State University Cut Off Mark 2023/2024 All Courses
The management of the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM), has announced the cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session admission exercise.
The minimum mark required from BSUM prospective students is 150. This means those who scored 150 and above in 2023 JAMB UTME are eligible to participate in the school Post UTME screening exercise.
This means candidates who scored 150 points and above for programmes other than Medicine & Surgery, Law, Nursing, Radiography & Radiation Science, and the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science in the UTME as well as Direct Entry candidates, are eligible to participate in the Registration for Online Screening Exercise of the University.
However, to be eligible to participate in the BSU screening exercise, candidates who chose Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, and law must score 220 and above while candidates who chose Nursing, Radiography & Radiation Science, and the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science in the UTME must score 200 and above in UTME.
NOTE: All candidates who applied for Law but scored between 150 and 199 may be considered for admission into any other programmes in the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, or Education. Also, candidates who applied for Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) in the College of Health Sciences but scored between 150 and 199 shall be considered for any of Anatomy, Physiology, and other allied Sciences programmes.
Kindly note that this is the first step in the school’s admission process. The second hurdle is for you to have a good point after the PUTME has been conducted. It is upon the screening exercise point that the admission will be finalized.
