COOU Postgraduate Admission Form 2026/2027

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University formerly known as Anambra State University Postgraduate form form 2026 is now on sale.

The management of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Uli, School of Postgraduate Studies is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its postgraduate programmes leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Degree of Masters (MA, MBA, M.Sc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degrees for the 2026 academic session in the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Law
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Clinical Medicine
  • Faculty of Environmental Sciences
  • Faculty of arts – Including Philosophy & Religion
  • Faculty of Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences
  • Faculty of Physical Sciences
  • Faculty of Social Sciences.

To be admitted, you must meet the requirements below:

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

Candidates must possess:

(A) Matriculation requirement of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

(B) A candidate with at least 3rd Class degree in any field.

(C) Candidates who hold good grades in non-first degree qualifications which are acceptable to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, that may include HND, FIRST, HMLT, ACA, AIB etc. Candidates with Lower Credit in the qualification will be required to have at least five (5) years relevant working experience to qualify for consideration for admission.

Master of Science (M.Sc)

Candidates must possess:

(A) Matriculation requirements for individual Universities which must be 5 O’level credits including English Language and Mathematics for candidates that had the O’level after 2013.

(B) Candidates with at least 2nd Class Lower Division from an approved University.

(C) Candidates with a PGD at Credit level pass (i.e. 3.0 on 5.0 point scale) or 60% on weighted percentage average.

(D) Candidates with Professional Masters Degree shall conform to ‘i and ii’ above.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)

Candidates must possess:

(A) All candidates that have their O’level after 2013 must have five (5) Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics and one Science subject at O’level or as approved by the Board of School of Postgraduate Studies

(B) Candidates with a Masters Degree with CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 point scale or 60% on weighted average
