This is to announce the sale of admission forms into the Adamawa State College of Nursing for the Basic and Community Nursing programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Admission Requirements

Interested candidates must have five (5) credits in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB to include; English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings for return into the Basic Nursing Programme.

For the Community Nursing Programme, the candidate must have a minimum of four (4) credits to include; English Language, Biology, and any other two from the above subjects. Community Nursing Programmes are for indigenes only, non-indigenes need not apply.

Where an applicant is presenting two O’Levels as a requirement, it should be; All or both NECO and WAEC OR All sitting should be NABTEB

The FCT School of nursing form is out for all candidates who are suitably qualified for admission into the Basic Nursing Programme for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Sales of form commences on April 8, 2023 and Completed forms are to be returned to the Principal, FCT School of Nursing, Gwagwalada. The deadline for the submission of application form is 21st April, 2023.

The school admits candidates for two different programs yearly. The 3year basic nursing program which starts in September is meant for secondary school leavers, while the 18 months post basic nursing program which commences in March is meant for qualified midwives.

• The basic general nurse training is a general course open to young males and females of not less than 17 years of age at the time of admission (September)
• Eligible candidates should possess WAEC, GCE or NECO with at least FIVE CREDIT passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings. The result(s) presented should not be more than 10 years since the examination was written. NABTEB certificate is not acceptable.

University College Hospital, UCH school of nursing form is out for 2022/2023 application. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing, University College Hospital, Ibadan for October 2022 Set.

The Course is for a period of three years, after which candidates will be presented for both the School and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Final Examinations to qualify as Registered Nurses (RN).
