Nigerian Maritime University Courses And Admission Requirements
The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) located at Okerenkoko with its takeoff campus at Kurutie Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State is established and owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
NUC has officially approved that National Maritime University Okerenkoko, Delta State to commence undergraduate academic activities in Transport, Engineering and Environmental Management faculties.

Officially Nigerian Maritime University offers 13 courses for now and the courses include:
The Faculty of Transport
This faculty has four departments that include
- Nautical Science
- Transport Logistics Management
- Marine Economics and Finance
- Port Management
B.Sc. Nautical Science
Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry Biology and Geography
JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, and three of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
B.Sc. Transport logistics Management, B.Sc. Marine Economics and Finance, and B.Sc. Port Management
Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other social science subject
JAMB Subject: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other social science subject
The Faculty of Engineering
It has five departments which include:
- Marine Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum and Gas Engineering
Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics Chemistry and Biology
JAMB subject: English Language, Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry and Biology
The Faculty of Environmental Management
It has four departments which include:
- Environmental Management and Pollution
- Meteorology and Climate Change
- Fisheries and Aquaculture
- Marine Geology
B.Sc. Environmental Management and Pollution Control, B.Sc. Meteorology and Climate Change
Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other social science subjects or one social science subject and any other subject

B.Sc. Fisheries and Aquaculture, B.Sc Marine Geology
