  • Covenant University Cut Off Mark And Admission Demand

This is an agreed score that is determined by the management of the school, and it is used for admission for a particular session. This score varies from one department to another. In most cases, it is the number of candidates to be admitted that determines the admission criteria the school will use.

Covenant University cut-off mark which is 180 is always in line with what JAMB approves as a minimum score. Scoring more than this mark will be an added advantage when the competition for the course you want to study is high.

I have seen some candidates who are not offered admission despite meeting the cut-off mark. The reason is that they set a high standard for admitting students being one of the top 3 best Universities in Nigeria.

Having met the O’level requirements (credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings) and JAMB minimum score (180), CU conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission to the University and applicants may not be admitted without fulfilling the demands of the screening exercise.

    Screening Demand

As I have said earlier, meeting the minumum mark may not guarantee your admission. You must fulfill the demand below and excel before you can be offered admission into CU.

    • During the PUTME registration, a statement of purpose (not more than 500-word count) will be prepared and submitted online with the application. The personal statement should address your intellectual interests, academic and professional objectives, visions, and goals for life.
    • There will be a Computer-based Post-UTME screening, which will take place at Covenant University, Canaan Land, Km. 10 Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State. The screening schedule would be accessible via the Screening Booking.

It is your excellent performance in PUTME, a good statement of purpose, a good JAMB score, and credit passes in SSCE that will give you your desire course in the school.

  • Covenant University School Fees Scheduled For 2023

Covenant University school fees schedule for 100 level students has been released by the management of the school. The table below will give you the fees for each course offered at Covenant University.

If you are admitted to Covenant University, we will make sure that the cost of coming to Covenant University is something you can afford.

Covenant University is committed to being financially accessible to the students that we accept. If you belong here, then we will work with you and your parents to make it graceful on their shoulders.

Recommended: Covenant University’s performance in Nigeria and Global Landscape

Before fees are increased in Covenant University, there is invariably a strong justification. Now we can distinctly state that our fees are one of the lowest among all private universities within this nation and overseas.

At Covenant University, students can be refunded if the money paid by the students or parents is not necessary. Some of the refundable fees at Covenant University include Medical Fees, book deposits, and Caution fees.

These fees operate like a purse where you are only billed based on your spending within an academic session. For example, if a student was not sick at any period in time during an academic session, the medical fees are taken forward into the following academic session except on occasions where the school decides on a general medical check-up.

Our passion is to nurture a novel generation of leaders who would in turn become wealth creators in the near future. It is expected that students and parents will prepare adequately before the start of an academic session to hit the 100% school payment.

Covenant University Performance in Nigeria and global landscape

The university was founded to tackle some of the issues the higher education in Nigeria was facing at the time, which includes amongst many:

    i) Shortage of placement opportunities in universities,

ii) The quality of the education in the country was in a poor state

Having said the above, there is a need to look at some of the outstanding performance and achievements of Covenant University since its inception in 2002.
