University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Courses And Requirements
The article is written to provide the list of courses offered in University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) for those who want to study in the school. UAES has five faculties namely Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Science and Computing (FSC), Faculty of Environmental Sciences (FES), Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences (FASM), and Faculty of Engineering.
The University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) Umuagwo, is a public University established by the act of Imo State Parliament Law No. 4 of 2019. The establishment of this University was a direct response of the Government of Imo State to the burning need for more credible tertiary Institutions needed to address the yearnings of the teeming youths of Imo State and the broader South-Eastern Nigeria desiring for qualitative third level education.

Admission Requirements
- This admission is open for candidates who sat for the UTME and scored a minimum of 160, and also candidates who sat for Post UTME and scored a minimum of 140.
- Candidates who did not choose UAES as first choice University but scored the required cut-off mark can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.
- All candidates must have five (5) O’ level credits in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates waiting O’ level results can also apply but they will not be considered for admission until their results are available.
