UNIBEN JAMB And Departmental Cut Off Mark 2024
The management of the University of Benin has released the cut-off mark for JAMB for the 2024 academic session for all the courses offered.
The JAMB cut-off mark is 200 and above for any of the courses offered in the school. This minimum score will make any candidate who chose UNIBEN as their first choice in UTME to be eligible for the Post UTME screening exercise. Candidates who score below 200 are advised not to register for the screening exercise.
This minimum score is determined after the school has conducted the PUTME screening, and the minimum point is determined based on the overall performance of all candidates who sat for the exercise.

Calculating the aggregate score
You can determine your overall score after you have seen your PUTME result. So, read further to learn how to calculate the aggregate score. To calculate the aggregate score, it is worthwhile to note that your JAMB and PUTME must be considered. Consequently, the UNIBEN aggregate is the average of your score in the UTME examination and Post UTME screening score.
Jamb score/8 + Post UTME score/2 (jamb score divided by 8, then add with PUTME score divided by 2)
For instance, if Ade scored 320 in the just concluded UTME examination and 70 in his PUTME, then Ade’s aggregate will be
Step 1: For JAMB, 320/8 = 40%
Step 2: For Post UTME, 70/2 = 35%
Step 3: Finally, his aggregate will be 40% + 35% = 75%
With a 75% aggregate score, Ade will be admitted to his course of choice on merit.
Kindly note: UNIBEN admission is strictly on merit. If you meet the cut-off mark, you will be offered admission.
