Aerospace Engineering Undergraduate Requirements in UK and USA

There is a need for aerospace engineers in the world today who can build an efficient and safer aircraft. The course has a career prospect when you join renowned companies and organizations like NASA, Raytheon, Honeywell, and Boeing, etc.

These requirements will serve as a clue to all prospective students who want to study the course in another university different from the one I discussed. Generally, Universities in the UK or US will require English language qualification from all international students whose native language is not English (i.e., countries that are not classified as English speaking).
Aerospace Engineering Requirements in the UK for International Students
- University of Manchester
All applicants especially international students must provide an approved English language qualification to meet our English language requirements, such as:

GCSE English at grade C or above

IELTS with 6.0 overall and no sub-test below 5.5

Internet-based TOEFL with 80 as total and no sub-test below 20

IB English language with a minimum score of 5 at standard level
A levels: Three A levels with overall grades of AAB in any order, in Mathematics and Physics and one other subject. The school accepts all subjects as the third A level except General studies.

GCSE: Five A-C Grades, including English Language, Maths and Physics or Dual Science (UM requires Grade 4 or above for applicants holding newly reformed GCSEs in England)
International Baccalaureate: 35 points including 665 at Higher Level to include Mathematics, Physics, and one other subject and 5 in the English Language at Standard Level
Aerospace Engineering Requirements in the USA for International Students
- Virginia Tech University
All prospective students whose first language is not English must show and document proficiency in the English language by submitting their IELTS/TOEFL/PTE score.
Students taking the IELTS must obtain a minimum score of 6.5, with no sub-score below 6.5 to be considered for admission to the school.
Students taking the PTE must obtain a minimum score of 53.
Depending on the type of TOEFL used, VT expects students to have scores of:

Internet-based test: minimum of 80, with no section sub-score less than 16

SAT Score
You must have a good SAT score (1280 and above is preferred) to gain admission into any university or college in the US. However, some universities in the US make the SAT optional. For example, Virginia Tech does not require the SAT for international applicants.
