Foursquare National Scholarship 2024
The Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria proudly announces the launch of an inclusive scholarship program to provide equitable educational opportunities. The Foursquare National Scholarship is designed to address the educational needs of financially disadvantaged students, facilitating access to quality education regardless of economic limitations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must demonstrate clear, verifiable proof of financial inability to meet educational expenses.
- Only students enrolled in Federal or State universities, polytechnics, and tertiary institutions are eligible. Secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution, including McPherson University.
- Undergraduate applicants from 200 level and above must have a minimum of Second Class Upper with a cumulative CGPA of 3.5/5 and provide a duly certified statement of results. Secondary school applicants (SS1 – SS3) must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in previous sessional examinations.
- Undergraduates must be 27 years old, and secondary school students must be at most 20 years of age.
University undergraduates must maintain a minimum of Second Class Upper division, while secondary school students must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70% to renew the scholarship award. Students from all recognized public universities and McPherson University pursuing accredited courses are eligible to apply, provided they meet the scholarship requirements.
The Foursquare National Scholarship covers full educational expenses until graduation, contingent upon maintaining the required academic performance. Applicants for the 2024 Foursquare National Scholarship must submit the following documents:
- Scholarship motivation letter
- WAEC result (for fresh undergraduates only)
- JAMB and Post JAMB results (for fresh undergraduates only)
- Admission letter (for fresh undergraduates only)
- Result of previous academic session (for current undergraduates)
- Completed online application form
- Birth certificate
