Kastina state school of nursing form is out for interested candidates seeking admission into the school.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the College of Nursing and Midwifery Katsina State (CONAMKAT) BASIC NURSING and COMMUNITY NURSING programmes for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.
The ND/HND Nursing is a four-year UNINTERUPTED programme i.e 2 years for ND and 2 years for HND. Students starts with ND Nursing programme which is a non-terminal programme. The ND Nursing graduates with minimum CGPA of 2.5 (Lower Credit) will then proceed for HND Nursing.
Katsina State College of Nursing and Midwifery Admission Eligibility
- Applicants for BASIC NURSING programme MUST have at least five (5) credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Applicants for COMMUNITY NURSING programme MUST have at least four (4) credits including English, Mathematics, Biology and any one (1) of Chemistry or Physics in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Awaiting Result is NOT ACCEPTED
The JAMB subject combinations for ND Nursing are Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Any combination apart from that, will not be considered no matter the JAMB score. Successful candidates that meets the minimum Cut-off marks will be invited for Screening/Interview by the College.

The general public may recall that the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to College of Nursing and Midwifery, Katsina (CONAMKAT) to run ND Nursing programme at Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina which led to the inclusion of our College in the Brochure of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Consequently, prospective students that wish to study ND Nursing programme at Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina should register with JAMB and choose our College under ND-Awarding Institutions as First or Second Choice. The JAMB subject combinations must be Use of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
The General should note that there is no more new admission for BASIC Nursing programme because it has been replaced with ND Nursing programme.
