The Maltina Teacher of the Year Award aims to recognize and celebrate exceptional teachers in Nigeria. The initiative is open to teachers in ALL secondary schools across the country (Public and Private secondary schools).
Entries are now open for the 2024 edition of the Maltina Teacher of the Year Award. The deadline for the submission of entries is 19th July 2024. The application form to enter into the competition is FREE.
Objectives
- The Maltina Teacher of the Year Award aims to recognize and celebrate exceptional teachers in Nigeria.
- The initiative is open to teachers in ALL secondary schools across the country.
- There will be champions from each state of the federation and the FCT from which the overall winner will emerge – State Champions that emerge from the 36 States and the FCT are recognised and rewarded, and the National Winners emerges from these State Champions after further assessment.
Award Prizes
Winner:
- N10,000,000
- Capacity development training
- Fully equipped block of classrooms or computer laboratory.
1st Runner-up:
- N3,000,000.
2nd Runner-up:
- N2,500,000.
State Champion:
- N1,000,000 each.
